ZitatAlles anzeigenSome sources say the Taiwanese company HTC prepares the release of a tiny Pocket PC smartphone. The device will be distributed via US mobile service providers under different names, the working name of the smartphone is the Magican.
It’s a GSM/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900 MHz smartphone built on Intel XScale PXA270 416 MHz processor. The Magican is equipped with a 2.9” 320x240x65K sensor screen. Running Windows Mobile 2003 SE Phone Edition it could work in the landscape mode. In addition it features 64 MB of RАМ, 48 MB of ROM, 7.6 MB of flash-memory, VGA camera, SD/MMC slot supporting SDIO. Most likely the mini-USB interface would provide the PC connection.
For now there is still no info on the wireless interfaces, however the problem can be partially solved with the slot for SDIO cards.
The smartphone measures 105 x 59 x 15 mm, weighs 130 g and is fed by a removable Li-Ion 1300 mAh battery. There is also no info on the battery life. The smartphone is supposed to cost about $500 - $600.
