Das ist mir schon klar, aber ein totes Phone wird unter Umständen den Auslesebefehl für den CDA-Wert nicht ausführen können.

In der Regel gilt der Austauch nicht für Simlock-Geräte.

Please note when flashing a phone with SW 3.14 to SW 5.46: To enable also updating of the java-applications (e-mail client etc.) to latest versions you must enable also content package flashing by selecting option “Phone as Manufactured” in Flashing menu. Please use User Settings/All Settings –feature in Phoenix to save user settings before flashing and to restore user settings to the phone after flashing. For more detailed instructions see APPENDIX I.

Known limitations with user settings:

- Reading/writing some settings may show an error, but should not cause failing of the whole flashing procedure
- Notes can not be restored

It is also possible to re-flash the phone software with different language package than the original one, but please note the following limitations:

1. Language packages include QWERTY-keyboard dependent drivers. You might have to change the flip in order to make the keyboard functions work correctly.
2. NEVER try to restore a user data back up set that has been read with another language package.
3. The cost for changing the phone language must be charged from the end user.

Blackberry kann natürlich jeder Servicepartner freischalten, da muss das Gerät nicht in die Produktion zurück. PP-Bit 31 auf On bzw. 1 - Fertig! Die Insider wissen Bescheid.

Wie hätten die ein Gerät reparieren solle, wenn die Ersatzteile nicht lieferbar sind?

Manche Geräte werden auch zentral repariert. Nur so zur Info!

Die Idee mit dem Austausch der Dateien ist gut. Und ich bezweifle, dass die CDA-Nummer bei einem toten Phone ausgelesen werden kann.

Wenn auf dem gleichen PC einmal ein ungebrandetes geflasht worden ist, könnte es schon gehen.

Nur ist es eben fraglich, ob man das dann öffentlich machen sollte, nicht das S/// das Update-Tool ändert.

Das mit den U-SIMs hat vor allem mit der Authentication zu tun. Um alte SIMs benutzen zu können, muss das UMTS-Netz 2G-Authentication zulassen, wenn nicht, läuft's nicht.

Die -02 am Ende ist die SVN (Software Version Number), wird z.B. bei Nokia nicht angezeigt, bei S/// aber schon. Entspricht genau der GSM-Spezifikation.

So lange die ersten 15 Stellen der IMEI identisch sind, ist alles in Ordnung.

Der DAU (Dümmster anzunehmender User) im Vodafone-Shop hat einfach keine Ahnung. Falls Du etwas bezahlen musst --> sofort Brief an die Geschäftsleitung MIT NAMENSNENNUNG des Mitarbeiters - nicht das der auch noch irgendwann mal befördert wird.

Im normalen Flash fehlt der Netmonitor im Gegensatz zu den alten DCT-3 Geräten. Es gibt ein extra Flashfile mit Netmonitor inside. Theoretisch kannst Du natürlich die Firmware aus einem Gerät mit Netmonitor auslesen, dazu musst Du aber den Flashbaustein mit einer UBGA-Hotair Solder-/Desolder-Lötstation auslöten, auslesen, reballen und wieder einlöten. Das nötige Equipment dürftest Du zwar irgendwo finden, ich bezweifle aber, dass Du jemanden findest der sein Netmoni Gerät einer solchen Behandlung unterziehen lässt.

Von Nokia aus ist das 7250i kein Auslaufmodell - im Februar läuft wohl nur 6610 aus.
