    Latest infos:

    There will be several new covers (with different designs) for the X-6. The one you can see above is made for Vodafone. Another better stylish cover is planned soon (end of summer).



    New models to come:


    - MyX-6 Java J2ME (September / 350 EUR) It will be possible to upgrade the first version of X6 to Java J2ME! (for this you need the serial data cable)


    - MyX-8 (November / 400-500 EUR) Alluminium clamshell (candy bar) with unusual 180° open angle. MyX-6 firmware + J2ME + bluetooth + 300K CCD camera.


    - MyX-1 (end of the year / < 120 EUR) 256 colors screen


    - MyX-2 (available today / 150 EUR) This product replaces the MyX-3


    - MyX-4 (September / 200-250 EUR) This product will replace the MyX-5



    and the big surprise... :)


    - Sagem Smartphone powered by Symbian 7 (end of the year)

    Note: MyC-5 is a product made under licence by Window 98 (Taiwanese manufacturer). The product is sold in Europe under the Sagem brand.



    Another Chinese manufacturer, BIRD, makes phones by using Sagem firmwares.

    Sagem to deliver 200,000 camera phones in June

    PARIS, June 19 (Reuters) - French telecoms and defence equipment maker Sagem SAGM.PA said on Thursday it would deliver 200,000 new camera phones in June and the model would generate 50 million euros in sales per month for the rest of 2003.
    "We launched this handset in May and we are going to deliver 200,000 of them in June," Sagem Chairman Gregoire Olivier told Reuters on the sidelines of a telecommunications conference.


    "This new handset is going to generate 50 million euros ($58.2 million) in revenues per month for the rest of the year," he said.


    The new camera phone, the My-X6, is one of eight new handsets Olivier said Sagem would launch this year.


    Sagem said in April it could beat its target of selling 10 million to 12 million mobile phones this year.


    Olivier said he did not expect to sell many third-generation handsets, which can transmit live video and other high-speed multimedia features, this year or next.


    "I am not extremely optimistic about selling big volumes of 3G phones," he said in remarks at the conference. "I don't see very many in the budget for 2004. For 2005, we'll see."


    Sagem said it was working on developing a 3G handset with Japan's Fujitsu Ltd 6702.T and that the two were previewing the phone to potential clients.

    Yes, it's a very big disappointment!!! :mad:
    I got the info from a Symbian developper on Nokia Symbian forum. In fact Nokia 6600 has the same audio hardware as Nokia 3650... :confused:


    I will post more reliable infos about this problem soon.
