That picture is from this site: mobisux.com, they have loads of ST55 pics.
Funny how some people write their own URL on pictures they have not taken themself... ![]()

It's most likely because some sites haven't added the SL55 User Agent as colour compatible yet, so you get forwarded to a b/w version of the site (like for b/w handsets).

What? Who did you get this information? And why sad siemens that there are only 16?
From Siemens. The current statement is that it only supports 16 chords, but by software it can handle 200 chords.
The SX1 is actually capable of 200 chords polyphonics, it's just depending on the software.

ST55 is not made by Siemens and it's not supposed to be a high-end phone ![]()
FW16 is available on my-siemens.com now (German, English and Nordic languages only).
It's only available from the norwegian version of my-siemens, but you can use the direct link on http://www.club-siemens.com (unless you can read norwegian of course
)
Should appear on all my-siemens portals shortly...
Good news: seems like Siemens have changed their minds and decided to include the stereo headset in the SX1 package ![]()

Das Siemesn-Symbian läuft nciht auf Nokai-Geräten, da die Siemens-Soft 12 Zeilen mehr auf das Display zu werfen versucht
That's wrong.
The 12x176 extra pixels can not be accessed by either Java, Series 60 or Symbian applications.
So the answer is: Yes, all Symbian applications for the 7650 will work fine on the SX1 ![]()
You will need to buy the headset to use it, just like it has a MP3-player but you will need to buy a MMC to use it ![]()
