No, the GX10i has been available in the UK since May 29th.
It is a triband version of the GX10, in a 'gunmetal grey' colour.

There are handets now with 262k external screens.
There is a phone fron Casio (A5302CA) that has a 580K colour external display. Before you ask, the internal display is 1.5 million colours.
The reason for this is you can use the external screen to take pics and capture video with the clamshell closed.
To those who say 4k is more than enough for a small screen, next time you go to the electronics shop and look at the screens on Sony Cybershot digital cameras. Smaller than mobile phones screens, they seem to have at least 262k colours, and make taking pictures/shooting video a great experience.
