    Und das tolle an den neuen Phones ist,daß es endlich annehmbarere UMTS -Telefone sind! :top: :)


    Allerdings sollte man beachten,daß diese Designs oft nicht die Finalversions sind! ;)

    Motorola unveils four new models, aiming for 3G handset market

    Aiming to make headway in the world’s third-generation (3G) mobile phone market, Motorola yesterday unveiled four new 3G handsets in Beijing, with two to be delivered in the second half of this year and the other two in the first half of 2005.


    The new models – the A1000, E1000, V1000 and V980 – will help Motorola maintain its lead in the 3G handset market, said S.T. Liew, director of 3G Business Development (Asia-Pacific) at Motorola.


    The A1000 is the company’s first 3G-enabled PDA, using the Symbian 7.0 operating system and featuring 208×320 resolution, a 65,000-color display and a built-in digital still camera (DSC) with a 1.2-megapixel sensor. To be delivered in the second half of 2004, the A1000 supports MPEG-4, WMV, WMA and MP3 formats.


    The E1000 features built-in Bluetooth technology, GPS functionality, a 1.2-megapixel DSC and a 2.2-inch QVGA (240×320) display that supports up to 260,000 colors. The model will also be available in the second half of this year.


    The V1000 will be the first clamshell 3G handset from Motorola. It will come with a 1.2-megapixel DSC, a 2.2-inch, 260,000-color QVGA display, as well as a 1.2-inch, 65,000-color sub-display. The V1000 supports both the WCDMA and GPRS standards.


    The V980 will target the entry-level market, aiming to promote the sales of 3G handsets, Liew said.


    Both the V1000 and V980 are to be launched in the first half of 2005.




    Einfach genial finde ich die 1Mpix Cams,die grossen Displays mit 260.000Farben und die Möglichkeit UMTS/GSM&GPRS! :top: :cool:

  • Motorola auf der CeBIT 2004

    Das A835 und das A925 (beides UMTS Geräte) dürften dieses Jahr grösser angepreist werden als letztes Jahr das A820.


    Ich rechne auch,daß auf dieser Cebit doch nun endlich 3G ein grösseres Thema bei den Netzbetreibern sein wird.Schließlich sind die Netze nun aktiv und warum sollte man solch eine grosse Messe nicht nutzen,die Handyzukunft besser zu vermarkten? ;):)

    Mir ist es immer wieder ein Rätsel,warum die Leute soooo schnell bieten und sich nicht ein wenig die Zeit nehmen das Angebot genau duchzulesen? :confused: :rolleyes:
