FireWire:

Unfortunately both of you didn't get the point. Blaming the guys here of not knowing what the principles of the www are - that is really poor! :flop:
Counterpart, the comparision you made (connect, xonio and so on) is not valid as this is something completely different. For instance (but really only "for instance") because noone from connect or xonio comes to this forum and says "ready our reviews on our website but sorry, we don't have a forum so discuss about it here". And if they would, their threads would go into the advertise board.
I don't think it makes sence to discuss this further. Jochen as a mod of this site made his position clear (as well as I did even though it's not up to me to decide anything, I'm just expressing my opinion).

Re: Panasonic GD87, not a good camera phone! debate!
Since I've chased someone else with the same issue I just felt a bit inconsequent because I forgot to tell you the same:

You can read the preview first, and discuss here!
This "read on my site, discuss here in your forum" thing is IMHO very bad behaviour. If you want the people here to discuss about your reviews you should post your reviews here (as many regular reviewers here [including myself] do).
If you feel bad about posting your reviews somewhere else I fully understand this. And don't get me wrong - I also fully appretiate your efforts to bring insider informations into our forum. But again - I have a very bad feeling if someone "outsorces" a discussion area that he should host by himself to someone else's place. The fact that other people pay for your discussion area is only one of the facts that causes headache to me. The intention of this forum is to post news, facts, infos and also reviews here and to discuss about it here. What you (and also the webmaster of mobile-review.com) are doing here would normally rated as advertising for your website, therefore threads like yours would normally go into the advertising board. The reason why this did not yet happened is probably that the admins and mods were impressed to see you here. But I wouldn't get used to this if I'd be you...

It isn't strange because i haven't forum by this time, but have many interesting articles.
Sorry, I don't know how others would call this. But what you say here IS strange. There's no doubt about that you have lots of interesting articles, but this does not necessarily gives you the right to "outsource" discussions about your reviews to a different location.
Zitat
And how you think I could put reviews in forum, its another format - not posting, just article with illustration.
Zitat
Of course the format is different, but it's not so much of a problem to convert. You would simply have to insert your pictures by the UBB image commands. There are plenty of people here (including myself) who are posting comprehensive and extensive mobile reviews (with pictures, sometimes even with sound and video clips) right here in this board.
Zitat
If you intersted in info you could read article. I describe my position?
Zitat
Again, I find your reviews very interesting and, to be honest, in some points better than my own ones, but I still tend to say that it is not a good behaviour to use a forum system driven (and payed for) by someone else to discuss the reviews on your website. If you don't want to post your reviews right in here I would understand this. But you should also understand my position. Imagine that all the professional input like reviews, first hand infos and so on would only be posted by some profs on their own website, leaving this forum as nothing more than a place for discussion about infos and reviews hosted somewhere else. This is not what I would like to see as the future of this forum.

NOthing to add? any suggestions?
Maybe you should post your review here in this board as well if you want that the people here discuss about it. It's a bit... uhmm... let's say, "strange" that someone directs the users from here to read his review on his website but then wants to discuss about it here.
Another point is that maybe not all users here speak english well enough to participate in english discussions.
Don't you have an own discussion board where users could discuss about the reviews on your website?
