Ach lests doch einfach selbst:
(sorry für den riesen QUOTE!)

Strategies
One to three series will die. K series may be gone by mid 2007 and/or Z series. When the K series is retired, C may be the replacement. S Series reborn for sliders. P series reborn for smartphones with cameras. T series reborn for attractive candybars. The index G may be used for gaming phones.
The time between announcement and release date for UIQ phones will be very little from now on.
We may see BRAVIA branded phone screens next year if Sony Ericsson Japan is a representation of next year for Sony Ericsson. Sony Ericsson normally does follow the trends/strategies of their Japanese branch and this could mean that we already know some specs of upcoming phones, i.e. SO903i and W880. The BRAVIA brand could be used for branding DVB-H for mobile TV to promote the quality of the screens being used, which will be high resolution and widescreen (240x432). The index B or D will be used for BRAVIA branded phones.
Swivels are dead; at least for this year, meaning that the Adriana is either slider or fake.
Cut down in number of phones released (to avoid too many variations).
Beginings of 'designer' and 'premium' series. The T650 is an example of a designer model - a mobile which values form over function, although SE is trying to create a 'semi-premium' range which is set apart by its design.
Upcoming features
A new UIQ system is almost complete. Known as R6 or 9.3
Sony Ericsson is working on mobiles that will conform to the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) which is an alliance between major corporations (such as Sony, Microsoft and Nokia) which will allow seamless integration between different devices, eg. watching videos from your computer on your TV.
The method in which this could be applied to mobiles is through sharing of videos, i.e. one mobile can watch the video content of another mobile. And just as a side note, because all the major mobile companies are part of the DLNA, this will mean that they are also working on phones supporting DLNA, meaning that all mobiles will be able to interact seamlessly.
Sony Ericsson will have products supporting DLNA out to market by mid 2007, meaning that there will probably be even more video/TV centric devices to come in the second half of 2007.
The M series will continue to have QWERTY keypads.
The joint venture with Sagem could result in some new technologies being acquired by Sony Ericsson, eg. internal DVB-H antenna.
Brown will be another colour of choice from SE.
High quality LCD screens to be used in SE phones sooner rather than later. Will be ahead of the competition.
A new camera module is in development with better colour reproduction.
A number of applications may be introduced, including: PDF/Document viewers, karaoke, TV, maps, enhanced Cyber-shot imaging software.
We will see quite a few non-touchscreen UIQ phones this year.
In Q3 2007, the A100 platform (the default non-smartphone platform) functionality will be upgraded again. These changes include:
- Support for electronic transactions, mobile banking, etc.
- Mobile commerce
- GPS support, and programs associated with GPS.
- Supprt for VoIP
- 3D graphics
- Content hadler API
- Scalable 2D vector graphics API for JAVA ME
- Mobile internationalization API
- Support for OPEN GL
- Support for motion sensors (accelerometers). This means intergration of accelerometers and games (and other Java applications).
New interesting form factor concepts, eg. slide > keyboard > slide > screen here.
GPS is set to be included in mid-high end phones.
Sony Ericsson will move towards Windows Mobile, with a phone running Windows Mobile to be out by the second half of 2008. This will probably be alongside their UIQ phones.
Integrated graphics chips to be incorporated with the launch of gaming orientated mobiles (to be released in 200.
Continuing support for both M2 and MicroSD.
No inbuilt GPS for 2007-2008. Rather, it will continue to be intergrated in the handsfree kits. GPS applications will be bundled though.
2008 mid range will still be based on the non-smartphone A100 platform.
A couple of phones (music orientated) will have 3.5mm headphone jacks on the actual body of the mobile - music orientated meaning Walkman branded mobiles.
MicroUSB sockets could be intergrated in SE mobiles.
The K850 style touch sensitive softkeys will be further incoporated into the portfolio. They will eventually move ino the mid range.
QVGA screens are going to intergrated in the Sony Ericsson portfolio more readily in 2008. That means, that QVGA should finally become standard for the mid range.
Japanese phones will soon have wide-VGA screens which will be accompanied by a new UI.
