für alle TipicME-Freaks unter euch:

Es gibt sehr bald eine neue Beta-Version, zusätzlich bitten die Entwickler um ein kleines Feedback - Denke es kann nicht schaden wenn ein paar mehr Leute zurückmailen. Werde hier, soweit es geht immer die aktuellen Betaversionen mit Änderungen etc. posten.

Dear TipicME Beta Tester,

we are approaching the release date of TipicME Beta4. This new version has
been ported to: SonyEricsson P800, Nokia 7650 and Siemens S55 (we also know
that it works on many other Phones and PockePC, but we have not optimized

We have been working on the reliability of the transports to other

2) I will use TipicME through the tipic.com server
- I am willing to pay for the service
- I am not willing to pay for the service

3) I would like to create my company's Wireless/Wired IM Network buying
TipicME licenses, the Wireless proxy and:
- connect to my existing IM server (please specify which type)
- buy TIMP (Tipic IM server)
- connect to my existing XMPP/Jabber Server

4) My company would like to license TipicME and the Wireless proxy to:
- brand it and offer the service to our own end users
- (OEM), to include the SW in our own SW platform
- we would like to become a Tipic reseller

5) What are the main problems that might slow down the adoption of TipicME
in your opinion?
- installation of the application
- configuration of the GPRS connection
- configuration of your IM account
- configuration of the transports to other platforms

6) Would you want to use TipicME on other Mobile Phones/Devices not
currently supported?

7) Are you also interested in the desktop client (TipicIM)

Could you tell us more about:
- your company (which business are you in)
- how you are planning to use the wireless IM platform

9) Have you been evaluating other competing products
- could you name them
- could you tell us how they compare to Tipic's

10) Feel free to add your comments

Aber wer benutzt schon ASP? Nicht falsch verstehen, hab das damals auch programmiert aber die überwiegende Anzahl von Webhostern setzt PHP ein-für mich zudem die eindeutig bessere Wahl... aber egal ... ist ein wenig off-topic...

ermhh ... auf meinem TFT sehen die Displays irgendwie gleich aus... Kann da keinen Unterschied sehen weiß aber vom T68, daß es da eine sehr große Serienstreuung gab...

Das war genau auch meine Frage aber vielleicht geht das beim WSH nicht anders?

hmm ... du setzt also eine Variable wenn der entsprechende Radio-button angewählt ist, frage mich nur, warum du das nicht nach dem Post auswertest?! Irgendwann wirst du doch sicher zum nächsten Fragebogen gehen oder? Dieser mußt doch geladen werden, wenn du vorher einen POST machst kannst du dir diesen ganzen Quatsch sparen ... just my 0.02€ ... ich mach das in PHP jedenfalls immer so - ist natürlich ein Unterschied zum WSH aber ich bräuchte für deine Aufgabe nur ein paar Zeilen Code und würde die Fragen etc. komplett in die DB oder eine extra Datei packen - da kann man sie auch leichter verändern, mehrere Sprachen benutzen etc. aber für deine Idee ist das vielleicht etwas overkill

[Edit] ... stelle gerade fest, daß das mit dem POST natürlich nur bei einem Webserver funktioniert - sorry - bin schon ver"webt" ...

Nein ... mit Radiobutton meinen wir solche Dinge wie:

* blabla
* blablub

wobei die * kleine kringelchen sind die man anwählen kann ... bei einer radio-group kann man nur entweder/oder anwählen ... hoffe du verstehst was ich meine...

Das Prinzip hast du ja schon verstanden oder?

Gib dem Radio-button den selben namen und frage dann den Wert von Desktop_WSA_Performance ab (müsste dann Desktop_WSA_Performance.value sein wenn ich mich nicht irre). Die "value"-Werte müssen bei jedem Radiobutton anders sein - klar...

Und wo ist das Problem? Dadurch das alle Radiobutton den gleichen Namen tragen gehören sie automatisch zu einer Radiobuttongruppe, wenn du also dann den Wert von "name_von_radiobutton" abfragst bekommst du immer den aktuell ausgewählten Wert - wenn du keinen ausgewählt hast bekommst du eben nichts zurück (= ""). Evtl. funktioniert das alles auch nur nach einem Formular-POST aber es müsste auch über Javascript oder VBScript funktionieren...
