O2 Models all were called back coz of its "hissing" mistake, so officially no o2 branded t 610 will be sold anymore.
Like O2 told me, this is with ALL 610 o2 sold until now and all they still have.

Jo, im Online Shops ist es noch - wenn man es online bestellt bekommt man aber keins, da bei O2 gerade ALLE 610er retoure gehen;-)
Und in den Shops wird es sicherlich noch ein paar Tage drin stehen oder auch länger, weil einige Händler wieder verpeilen diese rauszunehemn , aber offiziell darf O2 seit heute keine mehr vermarkten...wenn die trotzdem rausgehen hat O2 ja mehr Palaver am Hals wie wenn sie jetzt alle zurückrufen:D

Hallo,
seit heute morgen hat O2 alle T610 aus dem gesammten O2 vertrieb genommen - das bedeutet keine mehr in den Shops, keine mehr übers Internet und keine mehr über den direkten O2 Versand.
Und wenn ein Shop noch welche anbietet , haben diese definitiv ein Hintergrundrauschen.
O2 hat kürzlich erst eine neue Lieferung bekommen mit 355 Stück, die aber alle den Fehler des Hintergrundrauschens haben. gehen alle wieder retoure diese Geräte.
Fazit : Derzeit KEIN fehlerfreies SE T610 über O2 zu bekommen !!!

Hmm, now they wrote me again from fonmarkt. They told me that it´s not possible to update "original" software for T610, so it means that i cannot also put finnish language on it. In o2 store they told me that they can order me "original" T610 without any software changes or "branding". But the price, 439 euro... Auts! I can get it in same price from finland... But still have to do research, i mean of course i can handle it in german or english, but then incase my phone is the "hissing" version, they don´t even fix it in finland. Well, germany is my second home, so i can do it also in here.

What do you exactly mean with "hissing" version. U mean if the phone rushs ???
In my opinion this is problem , could not be fixed by software update. This is a problem belonging to the hardware, in fact it means you have to change the receiving unit for example - so can`t be fixed by the latest firmware.

Sure you can change theese settings - it is just a service by O2 - so the user don`t has to do this.
Shouldn`t be a problem to change the settings into thoose ones, used in your area ! In many cases you can also create more than one settings for going online - and than you can choose witch one you wanna use actually - its usefull if you have two cards belonging to different operators for example.
About the o2 starting screen i can`t tell you if you can change this, coz i`m not sure.
But in fact does it really matter ? Coz if you can update the software normally, does it still matter which animation is shown on startup?;)

In Essen selbst kann ich Dir das nicht genau sagen, da ich nicht direkt aus Essen komme, aber hatte das auch schonmal, dass ich in Essenw ar ind er Stadtmitte halt und da war ich dann laut Handy angeblich eingeloggt, wo mir dann aber andere Leute später sagten ich sei nicht erreichbar gewesen.
Kann Dir leider nie genau sagen wo es war, da ich es ja gar nicht mitbekomme - wenn handy alle Empfangsbalken auf voll hat, denke ich ja ich bin auch erreichbar...
Sehe das übrigens dann erst zu Hause, da wenn ich nciht @ home bin , wird umgeleitet aufs handy und das is ja nicht passiert...und zu hause ist ja dann ein Anruf in Abwesenheit - Beleg, dass ich nicht erreichbar war über Handy.

well , the main problem ist that 610 is also an offizial vodafone phone here in germany, there for it`s labeled and branded. Updating this should be possible - but it won`t contain menu in finnish, coz it is mainly used in germany.
Perhaps it is possible to update an O2 branded 610 in finland...but i am not sure, but should be possible by SE itself.
By the way, if you see a 610 without contract on the internet, this one could also be a labeled one, sold without contract, so ask before you by.

Meine Vermutung ist ja, dass dieses Gerät das o2 Lager nicht verlassen hat, sprich nie eingepackt wurde.....

denke schon, dass es O2 sehr wohl interessiert ob es eingebucht ist bzw, zumindest wo es denn abgeblieben ist, dnen wenn sie Dir es sofort ersetzen, dann hat O2 ja im Endeffekt ein gerät weniger, dass aber offiziell auch keinen Kunden hat-also wird O2 da schon Möglichkeiten einsetzen um wieder an das gerät zu kommen, aber hauptsache ist ja eigentlich nur, dass DU wieder n Neues hast:D
