Habe mir mal einen Multicard-Reader besorgt,genau das gleiche Phänomen :confused:

Laufwerke erscheinen aber anklicken oder sonstwas funzt nicht.Erst beim abziehen des Kabels erscheint das Kontextmenü !!?? Selbst unter '98 läuft der Kartenleser nicht .

Hier im Forum haben doch bestimmt schon einige den Player,
stürzt das Gerät nur bei mir hin und wieder ab oder bei euch auch?

Ich habe die SW V1.5.0011 drauf.
Kann man die SW-Bug irgendwie beheben mit ner neuen Firmware?

Also ich habe hin und wieder das Problem, das während ich das Gerät einschalte, also die Taste 4 Sekunden drücke, das Display kurz blau aufleuchtet und das wars dann. Dann hilft nur noch Akku raus und neu starten.

Hat sonst niemand das Problem, dann würde ich das Gerät als defekt zurückschicken, obwohl ich im großen und ganzen zufrieden bin mit dem Player.

Ich wollte es auch erst zurück schicken, weil es nur kurz blau geleuchtet hat - es lag daran dass ich nicht länger auf den Einschalt-Knopf gedrückt habe

Aber 4 Sek. müssten IMHO ausreichen...

PS: Zufrieden bin ich auch.

Ja das gleiche habe ich auch manchmal. Ist wohl ein bekanntes Problem.

In der Bedienungsanleitung steht unter FAQ auch, wenn der Player nicht mehr reagiert Akku raus, anscheinend gehört der Absturz zum Player dazu und ist bei mir kein Einzelfall.

Vielleicht bringen die ja irgendmal ne neue Software raus

Auf der englischen o2 Seite gibt´s ein SW-Update zum Download.
Ich weiß aber nicht, ob die auch für den deutschen DMP geeignet ist.

Allerdings bringt das bei mir nichts, ich habe glaube ich schon SW11 drauf, bei mir steht zumindest V.1.5.0011

Also versuch ich das upgrade lieber nicht

This step by step guide will allow you to upgrade your O2 Digital Music Player with a new version of software, designed to enhance your music download experience.

You can check the current software version on your O2 Digital Music Player by selecting Setup, then About Player from the player menu. If you currently have Version 10, you can use this guide to upgrade to the new Version 11.

What you need:

Your O2 Digital Music Player
The USB lead included with your player
The O2DMPUpgrade.zip file containing the new software: O2DMPV11.bin
A PC with a USB socket and one of the following Microsoft Windows operating systems:
Windows Me
Windows 2000
Windows XP
A step by step guide:

Click here to open the O2DMPUpgrade.zip file containing the new software and save it to a temporary folder on your PC

With the O2 Digital Music Player switched off, press and hold the up arrow on the player, then press and hold the power on button. The player should display Plug in USB cable to update the image

Release all buttons, and plug the USB cable into the player and the USB socket in your PC. The O2 Digital Music Player should appear as a Removable Drive under the My Computer directory on your PC

Double click on the O2DMPUpgrade.zip file you saved to your PC to unzip/open. Then copy the O2DMPV11.bin file to the Removable Drive by dragging and dropping the file, or by using cut and paste

Important: Select another folder, so that the active window is not displaying the Removable Drive

Right click on the Removable Drive folder and select Eject. The O2 Digital Music Player will display verifying then updating before displaying the normal power on menu. The process may take several minutes. The player will then return to the main menu you see when you first switch on the player

Switch off the O2 Digital Music Player and remove the USB lead. Your player has now been upgraded!

So nun ist mein Gerät auch da.

Feines Teil und ja recht preisgünstig. Im Lieferumfang war die 128er Speicherkarte.
