Vom 1. Oktober bis 8. Januar läuft eine Ausstellung im Kunsthaus Graz, bei der anhand des Telefonierverhaltens von Mobilkom Kunden z. Teil 3 Dimensionale Karten erstellt werden.
Man kann auch selbst an diesem Kunstprojekt teilnehmen, indem man sich beim Kauf der Eintrittskarte registrieren lässt und später werden dann die Bewegungsdaten auf diesen Karten personalisiert hervorgehoben.
Ob auch Mobilkom Roamingkunden teilnehmen können, ist auf der Website nicht angegeben.
Etwas unklar ist, ob in das Netz anhand von Pings eingegriffen wird, oder ob die normalen Trackingdaten, die beim Telefonieren sowie PLU, LU anfallen erhoben werden.
Auf der Projektseite heisst es:
"Furthermore the users of A1 Mobilkom Austria in Graz will be tracked anonymously by 'pinging' their cell phones as they move through the city. The record of this movement will be collected, processed and finally displayed as set of dynamic traces showing their paths through the city on the same map"
In einem anderen Satz heisst es:
"It is possible to simultaneously 'ping' the cell phones of thousands of users - thereby establishing their precise location in space at a given moment in time - these devices can be used as a highly dynamic tracking tool"

Damit kann doch eigentlich kein PLU gemeint sein, da dieses ja nicht simultan für alle Handys abläuft.
