Dreister Dialer - woher wissen die das ?

Moin Moin,
Ich hatte neulich bei HP angerufen, weil ich eine Treiber CD benötigte und der Treiber aus dem Internet nicht funktionierte.

Jetzt, drei Tage später krieg ich eine Email, mit folgendem Inhalt:

Was soll das ? Wenn ich auf die oben nicht erwähnte Seite gehe, fragt GetRight (Downloadmanager) ob ich folgende Datei runterladen möchte: irgendeine.exe !

Bin ein wenig verwirrt, woher das potenzielle Dialeranbieter wissen !?

Ich kann dir gerne den Link zu schicken. Ich muss nicht testen ob es ein Dialer ist oder nicht, nur komisch das im Hintergrund eine EXE -Datei geladen wird.
Hätte ich GetRight nicht, würde er ja nichtmal beanstanden ob es ein Dialer ist oder nicht, da GetRight immer eine Pfadangabe wünscht und sich so nie selbst etwas wegspeichern lässt seitens des Browsers.

Da hab ich auch schon reingeschaut. Leider sieht man unter Lotus Notes nicht sehr viel, da das alles unterteilt ist.

Dazu hab ich gerade die Email ausversehen gelöscht :apaul:

edit: Hab aber den Link noch im Verlauf. Ich hab mir mal den Quelltext auf der ersten Seite angeschaut. Dort steht folgendes:

Danke, aber trotzdem komisch. Ich hab denen am Telefon die Email-Adresse, auf die die Mail jetzt kam, garnicht genannt. Ich hab denen eine ganz andere genannt!

Aber ist ja in Ordnung. War ja nur eine Vermutung !
