hallo@all!
habe jetzt noch mal gezielt bei mail2web nachgefragt:
ZitatAlles anzeigenGreetings,
Ability to change the primary From address just means you can change what address you are sending mail from. The business account would be needed to change your actual domain name. (eg instead of yourname@mail2web.com, you could use yourname@yourdomain.com)
Although technically different, the SMTP Proxy Address bears some similarity to an Email Alias. This feature is available to both Business Exchange users and Personal Exchange users, with a maximum of 5 SMTP Proxy addresses per user.
Business Exchange Associate or Professional users can create an SMTP Proxy Address on their existing domain, such that user2@exchange-domain.com is an email alias for user1@exchange.domain.
Both Business Exchange users and Personal Exchange users can add third-party or non-mail2web.com email accounts as an SMTP Proxy address for their exchange account. For example, you could add yourname@your-isp.com as an SMTP Proxy Address for your account. As a result, any other user on our exchange servers sending email to that address would have their email routed to your exchange mailbox. Also, Business Exchange users viewing your Global Address List entry will see all your SMTP Proxy Addresses listed under the Email Addresses tab. We recommend combining this with either Email Forwarding (from your email provider's options) or our Email Aggregator feature, so that all email sent to your SMTP Proxy Address will arrive at your Exchange Mailbox.
