Nigeria-Connection: Will jemand 3,3 Mio $ haben?

Hallo,
gerade in dieser Woche kam im Radio ein längerer Beitrag über die Nigeria Connection.

Es muss echt Massen von Leuten getroffen haben bzw. noch treffen.

Jetzt sind die Mails aber wesentlich professioneller und vor allem personalisiert. So nach dem Motto: "Sie haben zufälligerweise auch den Namen 'Hansburg', so wie der Cousin des ältesten Sohnes unseres verstorbenen Präsidenten. Genau dieser muss jetzt eine Menge Geld aus dem Lande heraus schaffen und Ihr Konto wäre denkbar geeignet...."

Es wurden in dem Beitrag 2 oder 3 Londoner Geschäftsleute interviewt, die zwischen 7.000 und 250.000 brit. Pfund auf diese Weise verloren hatten.
Sie gingen u.a. zu diversen Treffen (Berlin. Amsterdam etc), wo immer wieder eine Sicherheitsleistung gefordert wurde. Dann kamen wieder Schwierigkeiten, wieder neue Sicherheitsleistung usw. usf.

Die Dunkelziffer der Betrogenen soll ziemlich hoch liegen, weil sich kaum einer traut, Anzeige zu erstatten- 1. wegen der eigenen Blödheit und 2. weil die Geschäfte ja teilweise kriminell (u.a. Steuerhinterziehung) sind.

der trotz Spam-Filter gerade diese Mails immer wieder erhält.

hab das mail vor ein paar tagen auch bekommen. das witzige daran war aber das ganz am ende des mails ein link war wo man ne ps2 gewinnen kann einfach draufklicken, und schon hat man gewonnen, muss nur nur noch namen, adresse tel usw eingeben. die versuchen damit neuerdings wohl auch noch an namen und adressen zu kommen um sie dann weiterzuverkaufen.

Aber es ist echt unglaublich was mit einer perfekten Masche und schauspielerischen Fähigkeiten alles machbar ist, dass selbst (vermeintlich) abgebrühte Geschäftsleute auf den Leim gehen.

Schon erstaunlich was alles an Organisation hinter so einem Syndikat steckt, dass scheint ja in Nigeria ein richtiger Wirtschaftszweig zu sein.
