Testlauf für was? Was ist das Kalkül?
hrgajek Ich schließe mich der Frage an: Testlauf wofür? Deaktivierung von B1/LTE2100?

Interessanter Testlauf, eigentlich sind Tests doch auf kleine Gebiete begrenzt, Aktuell kann man von Ludwigshafen bis nach Dortmund fahren und findet nur noch vereinzelt B1 und das sind wohl B1 only Stationen.

Seit bei uns B1 abgeschaltet wurde geht auch endlich 5G Sa mit 3CC N78+N1+N28, vorher gabs es keine ca mit 5G SA.

Nö, eben nicht.
Was ist die Konsequenz bzw. das Kalkül? Genausogut hätte man DSS deaktivieren können und nur L2100 nutzen
Die Frage ist: "reines" NR2100 mit welchem Hintergrund. 5G SA?

5G SA soll langsam hoffähig werden. Theoretisch ist es ja bundesweit verfügbar. Praktisch wissen wir ja, dass es noch Probleme gibt, passende Handys, Freischaltung, Software-Bugs, sinnvolle Anwendungsfälle - da gibts hier einen eigenen Thread zu.

In den nächsten zwei Jahren sollte es ja eine Migration weg von non-standalone zu standalone geben:
"Ericsson is still there on the outside of HTC (=Horizontal TelCo Cloud), handling 4G and non-standalone 5G traffic. But HTC-compatible Mavenir today carries all standalone 5G traffic in Germany, Deutsche Telekom's spokesperson confirmed.
Described by Analysys Mason as a "converged (4G/5G) packet core," Mavenir's technology should be capable of handling all Deutsche Telekom's mobile traffic once the operator has switched off its 2G service. Having turned off 3G several years ago, it plans to have phased out the older generation by June 2028. Seiser told TelcoTitans that Deutsche Telekom's non-standalone core will be taken out of service around the same time after all remaining customers have been migrated to the new core"
